I'm also a massive footy fan and die hard supporter of Newcastle United.
Newcastle will be taking 7000 fans to Barnsley this weekend. I'd like someone to name another club in this country, from any league, that can say they have an away following like NUFC. This is exceptional even by our standards!

I'm a big fan of argumented reality and I have a few of the iPhone apps on my phone. The apps I have are very basic, feeding information from sources like Wikipedia and twitter and displaying the information through your camera. I knew there was massive potential in this area but thought that it would take a few years to develop into something as advanced as the SixthSense device.
In this clip Pranav Mistry, an inventor from India, shows that the technology is available now to create a truly remarkable device.
Its been 6 years now since my parents and two younger brothers moved to Adelaide, Australia. When they first went over there i would Skype them as much as possible. As they settled in, and i got used to them being there, we skyped less and less. Since I got my iphone that all changed. My dad has an iPhone and so does my little brother. I can Skype them whenever I have wifi (thanks O2, 3G would be much better!) and chat as long as we want.
My brother recently had a daughter, my first niece. Now i've never met her which is not nice I have to admit. Skype doesnt really help and webcamming is not very practical as she has to come to the computer.
Knocking Live have just released their live iPhone to iPhone video sharing app and I love it! My brother sends me a knock and within seconds I can see my niece.

One of my good friends left the army recently. He did the tough guy race in 2008 and wants us to sign up for the 2010 race. Now i'm a fit lad. I cycle over 5 mile every day to work and ran the Great North Run in 1 hour 50 this year. I'm into downhill mountain biking and am big fan of assualt courses.
I've been watching a few videos on you tube of previous Tough Guy races and I have to say it looks pretty brutal, however, something appeals to me. I love to push myself physically and mentally and I think this could be the ultimate test. This video gives you a good idea of what it involves.
